At Giant Apple, we always produce corporate days at which everyone feels included. No-one is placed in a position in which they feel uncomfortable, delegates learn something about each other and last, but by no means least, everyone has fun, meaning they feel valued and rewarded.

We are always looking for new and imaginative ways to help you promote effective teams. Here at Giant Apple we are leading the way in experiential team building and corporate days - a break from the norm!

Here are just a few ideas for your next corporate day...

BRAND NEW CSI:UK
Giant Apple are excited to introduce brand new CSI: UK.
Where: Indoors / outdoors. At one of our ‘crime scenes’ in Sussex or at an external venue.
What: We have teamed up with former New Scotland Yard Specialist Crime Directorate Detectives to offer a corporate experience that is as close to reality as you can get without actually becoming a Crime Scene Detective!
From the word ‘Go’, delegates face real life forensic challenges. They learn CSI techniques and practices currently used by real Crime Scene Investigators and Forensic Scientists. This unique opportunity enables participants to work towards a common goal, developing strategies and methodical team work, collaboration and commnication in order to develop solutions to thought provoking crime scene scenarios.
A truly original and unforgettable corporate experience not available anywhere else!

Go to the Wild Foragers websiteWild Fungi Days
How: On foot (a considerable amount of walking is involved).
Where: Outdoors (Cowdray Estate) - mainly during the Autumn months.
What: Delegates are provided with comprehensive guide books and the ‘tools’ they need in order to work together to spot and then successfully identify different varieties of edible mushrooms. It is certainly not as easy as it may first appear. There are thousands of varieties of wild fungi that are suited to different habitats and are very good at camouflaging themselves in their surroundings. Do you have the powers of observation and the skill it takes to successfully identify the most desirable fungi? Our experts are on hand the whole time to guide, advise and answer all your questions. For full day trips, breakfast and lunch in the great
outdoors are included. Delegates even get to take home some of the mushrooms they have picked!

Equine Assisted Coaching
How: On foot (no horse riding involved).
Where: Outdoors or in a covered riding school.
What: A challenging and thought provoking experiential workshop where delegates interact with horses through a variety of activities, either as individuals or part of a team. Each activity requires delegates to apply a range of skills, eg. communication, assertiveness, creative thinking, problem solving and leadership. This is a unique personal development opportunity, enabling delegates to explore and develop their self confidence, mental toughness, conceptual thinking and ambition to achieve - a powerful tool in improving the effectiveness of leaders, teams and organisations. Sessions are completely tailored to the individual requirements of the team.
Our facilitators are EAGALA qualified.
NB: This is not a riding lesson. All activities take place on the ground and no previous experience of horses is required.

Duck Herding
How: On foot.
Where: Outdoors.
What: Participants learn how to act as ‘shepherd’ and direct sheep dogs using voice commands and whistles (if they can!). Individually, members of the teams then attempt to guide the dogs and shepherd different teams of ducks successfully through a variety of obstacle courses. Sounds easy doesn’t it?! After a little practice, delegates work together in their teams to attempt a bigger challenge. This team activity is a lot of fun!

Interactive Treasure Hunt
How: On foot using PDAs (hand held devices).
Where: Indoors / outdoors.
What: Based on a traditional treasure hunt but with a difference! Teams work together and use their PDAs to make their way around the chosen venue or town with their scavenger packs and view their questions / clues on screen. When they find an answer they type it in to the PDA and, if they are correct, the next clue is unlocked. Prizes are awarded to the first team to complete the hunt. Additional tasks can be given to all teams at the start of the day to be completed alongside the main hunt for a chance to win bonus prizes. Interactive Treasure Hunts are completely bespoke and PDAs are branded with your company logo / message etc.

Ice Carving
How: This activity takes place in one set location.
Where: Indoors / outdoors.
What: A professional sculptor demonstrates carving techniques and then, in small groups of up to 5 people, teams try their hands at carving to create a 'masterpiece'. A team of judges determine the winners and prizes are awarded accordingly. An unusual and fun team building activity that gets everyone involved.

Cocktail Masterclass
How: This activity takes places in one set location.
Where: Indoors / outdoors (some facilities required).
What: Professional Cocktail Tenders demonstrate different cocktails to the group and give them a brief history of cocktails. The group is then split in to teams of up to 5 people. Each team is given a tray of mystery ingredients and they have to use 5 of those ingredients in the creation of their very own cocktail. They can use any spirits, flavours, glasses etc that they choose. The professionals then taste and judge the winners and certificates are presented. This is fun as a team building or morale boosting activity. Combine with dinner to entertain clients, reward staff or just for fun!

Team Technologies
How: As part of any of the above activities or as a stand alone activity.
Where: Indoors.
What: Teams work together, using the technology, to solve interactive puzzles, answer questions or play a quiz, against the clock or against the other teams. Questions / quizzes can be written to incorporate individual team members' knowledge, eg. delegates may have knowledge of different business areas, so team members look to a certain member of the team for a particular answer or piece of information. This method ensures that all team members are involved / included and their contributions are highly valued by the team. Prizes are awarded for highest scores, fastest answers etc.

All the above activities offer variety and maintain momentum. All team building activities can be themed around your business or product.
