CORPORATE DAYS

At Giant Apple, we always produce corporate days at which everyone feels included. No-one is placed in a position in which they feel uncomfortable, delegates learn something about each other and last, but by no means least, everyone has fun, meaning they feel valued and rewarded.

Here are just a few ideas for your next corporate day. The sky is the limit when it comes to fun activities! Whether it's a specialist staff team building event, as client entertainment or a family day out, Giant Apple Events are happy to talk through your event and discuss what will work and what won't. We will put together a proposal that is individual to you and your guests.

‘It’s a Knockout’
How: On foot, incorporating games and challenges of varying physical levels.
Where: Outdoors.
What: Teams, selected at random, compete against each other in games and challenges that are designed for fun but that can incorporate a team building element. Including inflatables, bungee runs, gladiator jousting and human table football. We organise a ‘knockout’ fun day for you and your staff, tailored to suit your individual requirements.

TEAM BUILDING EVENTS

'Treasure' Hunt
How: On foot, in vehicles, using PDAs (hand held devices).
Where: Indoors / outdoors.
What: Delegates solve a variety of ‘clues’ by working together and drawing on individual team members’ strengths / knowledge. Prizes are awarded to the first and last teams to complete the hunt. An additional task can be given to all teams at the start of the day, to be completed alongside the hunt, with a bonus prize awarded at the end of the day.

Ice Carving
How: This activity takes place in one set location.
Where: Indoors / outdoors.
What: A professional sculptor demonstrates carving techniques and then, in small groups of up to 5 people, teams try their hands at carving to create a 'masterpiece'. A team of judges determine the winners and prizes are awarded accordingly. An unusual and fun team building activity that gets everyone involved.

‘The Adventure Game’ / ‘Crystal Maze’
How: On foot, incorporating physical tasks.
Where: Indoors / outdoors.
What: Team members take it in turns to participate in physical, mental, skill & mystery 'tasks'. Different members of the team are chosen to carry out the main task with the rest of the team providing help and support by way of advice, encouragement etc. Tasks include making use of problem solving skills, strategy, motivational skills and team work. There is a task for everyone, no matter what their mental or physical ability. By successfully completing tasks, teams win tokens or objects. The more tokens / objects collected the more substantial the prize for the team. Alternatively, tokens buy them time or articals that benefit them in a final task at the end of the day in which the winners receive the overall team prize.

Cocktail Masterclass
How: This activity takes places in one set location.
Where: Indoors / outdoors (some facilities required).
What: Professional Cocktail Tenders demonstrate different cocktails to the group and give them a brief history of cocktails. The group is then split in to teams of up to 5 people. Each team is given a tray of mystery ingredients and they have to use 5 of those ingredients in the creation of their very own cocktail. They can use any spirits, flavours, glasses etc that they choose. The professionals then taste and judge the winners and certificates are presented. This is fun as a team building or morale boosting activity. Combine with dinner to entertain clients, reward staff or just for fun!

Team Technology
How: As part of any of the above activities or as a stand alone activity.
Where: Indoors.
What: Teams work together, using the technology, to solve interactive puzzles, answer questions or play a quiz, against the clock or against the other teams. Questions / quizzes can be written to incorporate individual team members' knowledge, eg. delegates may have knowledge of different business areas, so team members look to a certain member of the team for a particular answer or piece of information. This method ensures that all team members are involved / included and their contributions are highly valued by the team. Prizes are awarded for highest scores, fastest answers etc.

All the above activities offer variety and maintain momentum. All team building activities can be themed around your business or product.
